Bars are the headline charge for two people for the day. They are not like-for-like: some are pure rental you never see again, some come back to you as food and drink. The tooltip says which. Food, drink beyond any credit, and 10–15% service are on top everywhere.

If it were us, in order

1. Ocean Club Marbella — the safe, bookable choice

The only club on the coast where you can see a real 2026 price list, pick a bed and pay for it online today. Big saltwater pool, on the beach at Puerto Banús, and every bed comes with Perrier-Jouët. €300 gets you a 3-person bed with a bottle — a couple just has a spare seat. If friends come, the 8-person bed is €600 with two bottles, which is about €75 a head before food. Downside: it's the busiest, most "scene" option of the three, and beds are non-refundable.

2. La Sala by the Sea — best pool, best group beds

Swim-up beds, a VIP whirlpool bed for six, a proper cabana for eight — the most literal match to what you described, and the bed fee comes back as food and drink credit on a weekend rather than vanishing. The catch is the price tier: their bank-holiday column would put a Swim Up Lounge Bed at €265–360 rather than €255, and the cabana at €880–1,200. Their published bank-holiday list doesn't actually include 15–16 Aug, so ask them which column applies before you commit.

3. Amàre Beach — the low-risk, low-cost one

€69.50 each, half of it back as food and drink credit, two pools plus the beach, adults-only 16+, bookable online right now, in walking distance of Marbella town. About €139 for the two of you and roughly €70 of that returns. It's a hotel day pass rather than a private bed, so it's less of an occasion — but if the others are full or feel steep, this is the one that will definitely happen.

Wildcard: Nido, Estepona — the value play

A 6–8 person lounge area for a €200 minimum spend — money you eat and drink back, not a rental. Pool double bed €300 on the same basis. Nothing else on the coast is close on value for a group. The costs are a 35–45 minute drive west and some August dates already showing sold out. Worth one phone call before you rule it out.

The colour is the thing to look at. A €200 minimum spend at Nido is money you were going to spend on lunch anyway. A €75 rental at Ocean Club is €75 before you've bought a drink — though it does come with champagne, which softens it.

Five questions to put in writing

  • Flat fee or minimum spend? This is the whole ballgame. A €300 minimum spend is dinner and drinks you were buying anyway. A €300 rental is €300 gone before you order a thing.
  • Per bed or per person? Marbella minimums are usually per bed — but confirm, because a per-person minimum on a bed for eight is a different universe.
  • Is IVA and service included? Nobody publishes this. Service is typically 10–15% on top.
  • What's the arrival deadline? Ocean Club resells prepaid beds at 4pm. La Sala releases at 12:30 with no refund. Nido wants check-in before 13:00. These are enforced.
  • Is any of it refundable? Usually no — most convert to a credit voucher at best, and only with notice.

Practicalities for the day

  • Taxis cost ~25–30% more both days — the T2 tariff applies all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Marbella centre to Puerto Banús ≈ €14–15; to Elviria ≈ €19–20. You can't hail one on the street here — use a rank or call Radio Taxi Marbella on +34 952 77 44 88, and pre-book the return, because 7pm chucking-out on a holiday Saturday is brutal.
  • Parking: valet at Ocean Club, Nikki Beach and Trocadero Arena; free client parking at La Cabane; paid and unbookable at Amàre. Don't plan to self-park anywhere near Puerto Banús after midday.
  • Arrive at opening. 11:00 at Ocean Club and La Sala, 12:00 at Nikki and La Cabane. Peak is around 4pm and most places close at 19:00–20:00.
  • Dress codes are real and enforced. Ocean Club, Nikki Beach and La Cabane all explicitly ban fancy dress, body glitter, face gems, hen-party accessories, matching group outfits and sportswear. If birthday dressing-up was on the cards, check first.
  • Weather: 29–30°C, sea at 24°C, essentially zero chance of rain.
